Sync Your Sales World.
The CRM Connection module is the lifeline of your data. By establishing a secure link between Revspire and your CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, you eliminate manual data entry.
- No more copy-pasting notes.
- No more “forgot to log” excuses.
- Real-time pipeline visibility.
A. Managing Active Connections
Your Integration Dashboard.
When you access the CRM tab, you see a master list of all established links. This allows you to manage multiple instances (e.g., a “Testing” environment and a “Live” environment) from one view.
The Connection List:
- Name: The custom label you gave this connection (e.g., “Salesforce Account ABC Person” or “Prod Salesforce”).
- CRM: The platform type (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Owner: The specific user who authenticated the connection.
- Is Primary: (Critical) This checkmark indicates which connection is currently active for writing data. You can have five connections listed, but only one Primary.
- Status Timestamps:
- Created At / Updated At: Audit trails showing exactly when the sync was established or modified.
B. Adding a New Connection
Three Steps to Sync.
Connecting a new CRM is designed to be a secure, OAuth-based workflow. You do not need complex API keys; you just need your CRM login credentials.
Step 1: Initiate
- Click the “Add Connection” button (top right).
Step 2: Select Platform
- Choose your CRM provider from the supported list:
- Salesforce
- Dynamics 365
- Zoho
- HubSpot
- Pipedrive
- Click Next.
Step 3: Configure & Authenticate
- Connection Name: Give it a clear, recognizable name (e.g., “Q1 Production Sync”).
- Instance Type:
- Production: Select this for your Live environment where real customer data lives.
- Sandbox: Select this for Testing or training environments. (Prevents test data from corrupting your real revenue reports).
- Set as Primary Connection:
- Check this box if you want this to be the main sync immediately.
- Note: Checking this will automatically un-check any previous primary connection.
- Finalize: Click Create Connection.
- Redirect: You will be redirected to your CRM’s login page to authorize Revspire access.
C. Why “Primary” Matters
One Source of Truth.
You might have a Salesforce Sandbox for testing and a HubSpot instance for marketing. Revspire needs to know where to push the real sales data.
- The Primary Connection determines:
- Where Deal Room activity (Views, Shares) is logged.
- Where Leads are created when a new person views a pitch.
- Which Product Catalog (Price Book) is used for proposals.
