My Files is your private workspace within the Content Management System. Unlike the shared Content Portal, this dashboard displays only the assets you have uploaded or created. It serves as a personal audit log, allowing you to track exactly how your specific files are being utilized across different sales conversations.
Features
Personal Library: A filtered view showing only content where Owner = You.
Linked Pitch Tracking: A dedicated “Linked Pitches” counter for every file.
Impact Analysis (Expandable Rows): Click the arrow (>) on any file to see a visual grid of every Deal Room and Pitch Stream using that asset.
Direct-on-Pitch Detection: Identifies files that were uploaded directly inside a Deal Room wizard rather than organized into a library folder.
Keyword & Tag Visibility: View AI-generated or manual keywords associated with your files.
Purpose
To provide individual contributors (Sales Reps, Marketing Managers) with visibility into their personal assets and help them clean up “orphan” files or track the success of their custom uploads.
Permission
To access and manage this section, your Profile requires the following permissions under Digital Sales Room > Content:
View Content: Required to access the “My Files” page and view assets related to your user.
Edit Content: Required to rename or modify details of your files.
Delete Content: Required to remove files from your personal workspace.
Steps
Navigating Your Files
- Click Content > My Files in the sidebar.
- The table displays your files with columns for Name, Folder Location, Source, and Size.
- Sort: Click headers (like “Created At” or “Name”) to organize your list.
Tracking Usage (Linked Pitches)
- Look at the Linked Pitches column. It shows a number (e.g., “3”) indicating how many active deal rooms contain this file.
- Drill Down: Click the arrow icon (> text) to the left of the file name.
- Expanded View: A panel will slide down showing:
- Keywords: Tags associated with the file.
- Pitch Cards: Clickable cards for every Pitch using this file. You can jump directly to the Pitch Studio by clicking a card.
Managing “Direct on Pitch” Files
- Check the Folder column.
- If you see the text “Direct on Pitch“, it means this file was uploaded casually while building a sales room.
- Note: These files do not exist in the main public folder structure. If you delete the Pitch they are attached to, these files might become “orphaned” unless moved.
Searching Personal Content
- Use the Search Bar at the top right of the table.
- This searches specifically within your personal uploads (Name, Keywords, and Mime-Type), ignoring the broader organization’s library.
Limitation and Notes
- Visibility: You cannot see files owned by other users here. For shared team assets, use the Content Portal.
- Deletion Impact: If you delete a file from “My Files” that has a high Linked Pitch count, it will disappear from all those active deal rooms immediately. Always check the expanded view before deleting.
- Infinite Scroll: The list loads 50 items at a time. Scroll down to load older files.
