Sales happen in the inbox. The Mailbox Integration connects your professional email (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Zoho) to Revspire. This ensures that every Deal Room you share comes from you, not a generic system address, increasing trust and open rates.

By syncing your mailbox, you unlock three critical powers:

  1. Send from Identity: Emails appear in the prospect’s inbox as coming from your.name@company.com.
  2. Reply Sync: If a prospect replies to your pitch email, that conversation is automatically logged in the Deal Room timeline.
  3. Calendar Sync: Enable the “Book a Meeting” feature so prospects can schedule time with you instantly.

A. Managing Connected Mailboxes

Your Communication Dashboard.

The Mailbox tab gives you a clear view of which email accounts are currently linked to your profile. You can manage multiple accounts (e.g., a primary work email and a secondary outreach email).

The Mailbox List:

  • Provider: Identifies the service (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Yahoo).
  • Email: The specific address linked (e.g., jaiganeshachar.achar@gmail.com).
  • Primary: (Critical) The account marked as “Primary” is the default sender for all new Deal Rooms.
  • Timestamps:
    • Created At / Updated At: Audit logs showing when the connection was last refreshed or authorized.

Status Check: If you see a “null” or error in the Email column, it may mean your token has expired. Simply click to re-authenticate.


B. Adding a New Mailbox

Connect in Seconds.

We use secure OAuth technology to link your account. This means you never share your actual password with Revspire; you simply authorize access via your provider.

Step 1: Choose Your Provider

Click “Add” and select your service:

  • Gmail (Google Workspace)
  • Outlook (Office 365 / Exchange)
  • Yahoo
  • Zoho

Step 2: Authenticate & Authorize

You will be redirected to your provider’s login screen (e.g., “Sign in with Google”). You must grant specific permissions for the integration to work.

Understanding the Permissions:

  • “View your email messages and settings”:
    • Why: This allows Revspire to “listen” for replies to your specific Deal Room emails so we can log them in the timeline. We do not read your personal unrelated emails.
  • “Send email on your behalf”:
    • Why: This is essential. It allows you to click “Share Pitch” inside Revspire, and the email is actually sent through your Gmail/Outlook server.
  • “View events on all your calendars”:
    • Why: To prevent double-booking. When a prospect tries to book a meeting, we check your calendar first to ensure you are free.
  • “See and download any calendar”:
    • Why: To sync booked meetings back to your Outlook/Google calendar so you don’t miss them.

Once connected, your workflow transforms:

  • Before: You download a PDF -> Open Outlook ->Attach file -> Write email -> Send. (No tracking).
  • With Integration: You stay in Revspire -> Click “Share” -> The system drafts the email for you -> You hit Send.
    • Result: The email comes from You, the file is a Trackable Link, and you get an alert the moment they open it.
